Hard to believe it's the middle of December. Today, I love this river. While I do make it a habit to lean into challenges, the Mississippi has pushed my energy to its limits.
A calm pup, bright sun, very little wind, infrequent traffic, and balmy 67 degree forecast all meant that I didn't have to fight for progress today. I can slow down and enjoy it. The last two days have been blessings.
The next two will be fights if the forecast is correct...🙄
This dude will follow me anywhere, I'm convinced. This tree was about 8 feet in the air at its highest.
