**Catch up post from 8/25**
What a terrific 3 days! There were challenges; the wind and I are still not friends all the time. But to see moving water again was a welcome sight.
Had a few days of great weather, picked up resupply package #2 in Washburn, and made it through Bismarck on day 3 after portraying Garrison dam...just in time to paddle through a rain shower.
Was excited to find the perfect little hidden gem of a campsite on an island south of Bismarck. A nice fire, trees for cover, and friendly local beavers to keep Hank busy😂. Also, a thank you to the nice folks at Sunset Lodge for his new favorite toy!
