**Catch up from 9/1**
It's hard to believe it's September already. I'm behind schedule, but have pretty much let that go. Still, it's hard to sit out another day.
Yesterday, I found a sand bar about 20 ft offshore. I could walk it, but the water was waist to chest deep. I grabbed onto the canoe and moved another mile doing my aquarobics before I ran out of sand bar and my body wore out. Checking the forecast confirmed I wasn't going anywhere today either. The wind makes the bay I need to cross impassable, so here I sit.
Every time things get tough though, something special happens that makes me smile. Found this while walking around my camp.
