So cool to float into my home state capitol the other day!
Thank you to Jim for meeting us and getting some great shots! Luckily, we found a camp before the rain hit.
After a long night of constant rain and dropping temps, I packed up a wet, sandy camp in more rain. Less than an hour after we shoved off, I was ready to call it a day. Cold wind and sideways rain took any fun out of it.
We found the National Guard ramp and they were very helpful letting us pull out there. Made our way over to Astral Glass at New Haven where I met some great folks and learned a little about glass blowing!
Next stop Frontier Park, St. Charles this afternoon!
