Launch day!!

And we're off! Great 11 miles the first day. Found the wind...not fun. Saw 2 river otters, a golden eagle, a beaver, 2 trout beach, several egrets, a bunch of ducks and about 15 trains.

Half way through day 2 and the tally is 1 turtle, 1 bald eagle, and otter and a bunch of ducks and egrets. First portage completed at Toston dam. Had a little delay with Hank getting lost, but the kindness of strangers got us moving again🤗
