Made it!

What a day on Wednesday, 20-25 mph winds, hopping between rainstorms (the last one got us good and broke another umbrella), and Hank scared a coyote into the river. He just wanted to play, but the coyote was having none of it.

Thursday, made it to Vicksburg. And what a beautiful day to paddle!

It was that smooth most of the way...

Vicksburg has been amazing. Big thank you to new friends and fellow paddlers Layne and Laura for welcoming me and Hank and giving us such a wonderful experience!! May have to come back and explore more when I have more time.

Tomorrow, on to Natchez and the final 300 miles of the whole trip!

Natchez!!! One of my favorite stops!! Slept right under the big oak at the paddle boat dock!?!&!? Oh how I miss that memorable river trip.
