It was beyond great to see that current yesterday. Averaged 4 mph paddling through Pierre.
Unfortunately, stuck with winds on a grassy, spidery peninsula in Alto, SD after only making it 4 miles this morning.
Already, it is apparent the current is lessened and the river is widening as I move into Lake Sharpe. Next Portage, Fort Thompson!
